The assistant can be instructed to produce answers in specific languages. For instance, you can instruct your assistant to answer in the same language as the user.

This is a very powerful technique, and it does not depend on the language of your content. So you can keep all your content in a single language, and yet the assistant will be capable of responding in any other language.
GPT-4, which is the model Markprompt uses for generating answers, knows how to respond in more than 100 languages. The underlying embedding model used to match a question with sections in your knowledge base is equally robust across languages. It is estimated that, when the source content is in English, the performance hit does not exceed 20% (the limit being attained on rarely spoken languages).
