Zendesk Live Chat

Our Zendesk Live Chat integration enables you to offer AI chat inside of your Zendesk Web Widget and serve as a first line of support for your customers.

Follow these steps to install the integration:

  1. In the Zendesk admin panel:
  • Navigate to Apps and Integrations > APIs > Conversations API.
  • Click on “Create API key”, and give it a name, such as “Markprompt Live Chat”.
  • Save the “App ID”, “Key ID”, and “Secret Key” for later.
  1. Still in the Zendesk admin panel:
  • Navigate to Apps and Integrations > Integrations > Conversation Integrations.
  • Click on “Create Integration”, and enter the following details:
  1. In the Markprompt dashboard:
  • Navigate to the Integrations tab.
  • Select the “Zendesk Live Chat” integration.
  • Enter the “App ID”, “Key ID”, and “Secret Key” from step 1.
  • Select the agent to use for the live chat.
  • Click “Save”.

Your Zendesk Web Widget should now be configured to use Markprompt Live Chat to answer customer questions!
